This Mid-Century snake bangle features .02 carats of round cut rubies set in 14 karat white gold prongs above a beautifully textured snake made of 14 karat yellow gold. The first thing you notice about this solid gold bangle is the weight, at a substantial 51.4 grams. The second thing is the incredible attention to detail by the artisan who crafted this fine piece. The back of the snake features hand engraved scales all the way to the end, with the sides features a nice texture from the brushed finish. The face of the snake features a smooth hammered look and the forked tongue of the snake reaches all the way out as a separate element. Finally, the tail of the snake is a very intricate series of wraps tying it around itself and creating another interesting artisanal touch.
