Vintage Engagement Ring Retro 2.33 Oval Cut Sapphire in 18k Yellow Gold & Platinum

This vintage Retro (1940s) engagement ring features a gorgeous 2.33 oval cut sapphire.  The sapphire is bezel set and is bordered with beautiful milgrain detail that provides a unique bit of texture.  The center stone is accented by two old European cut diamonds that provide a special bit of sparkle and texture.  The top of the ring and basket is done in platinum, which allows the diamonds to show their true color.  The shank of the ring is done in polished yellow gold and and provides a beautiful contrast of color.  A gorgeous example of Retro design!
