When Rolex released ref. 116509 in the mid-2000s, it was the first white gold Daytona to run on an automatic movement developed and produced entirely in-house - the Rolex calibre 4130. During its production run, the Big Crown added several remarkable dials to the 116509 collection. This model features the Meteorite dial with Roman numeral hour markers. Other features include the Daytona's trademark tachymeter bezel, accompanying sub-dials, sapphire crystal, and water resistance up to 100 meters. Serial V231070.
