The majority of the locket is made of 14 karat rose gold, with the border ring and the leaf engravings at the center done in 14 karat green gold. Green gold is not commonly seen and is an alloy of gold usually made with silver. The combination of rose gold and green gold done with these fine engravings creates a very special look on this very special locket.
