This Right Hand Ring is unquestionably an antique. Crafted during the Victorian Era, the unique and almost raw quality is one of a kind. The Center stone is a 3.65 carat Emerald Cut Garnet. Complimenting the rich, red color of the Garnet, on either side are two Opals that have been carved in the shape of scarabs. The Victorian period is known as a time for resurrecting ancient themes and symbols and the scarab motif was likely inspired by ancient Egyptian symbolism. The setting is made of 18k yellow gold.
