Antique Engagement Ring Art Deco 2.59 Round Brilliant Cut Diamond in 14K in Yellow Gold

Its nearly impossible to decide what part of this ring is more incredible, the 2.59 carat Round Brilliant Cut diamond, or the Art Deco Era engraved mounting. The 2.59 carat diamond has N color and VS2 clarity, and is set inside a bezel setting which has a halo of gold around it that features engraving and milgraining. The shank features a small orange blossom on each shoulder and then a leaf pattern which then tapers slightly to the base. No detail was spared in engraving every inch of this mounting, including along the underside of the crown and profile of the shank.
