These Art Nouveau drop earrings feature intricately carved jadeite jade in 18 karat yellow gold. Dating from the early 1900s, each earring showcases a carved flower at the top, a pearl bead at center, and a bird and fish carved at the bottom. The jadeite pieces measure 9.5mm each and display the smooth, translucent quality prized in fine jade.
The earrings measure two inches in length and three-quarters of an inch in width. Finished on secure post backings. The Art Nouveau period brought nature-inspired motifs to jewelry design, and these earrings capture that aesthetic with their detailed carvings of flora and fauna.
