.90 Antique Art Deco Diamond Engagement Ring Platinum

This Art Deco engagement ring features a .90 carat old European cut diamond and accent diamonds in platinum. The center diamond has a near colorless G color grade, meaning it appears white to the eye with only faint warmth visible under close inspection. Two (2) .07 carat marquise cut diamonds flank the center stone in fishtail settings, creating the stepped geometric design characteristic of the 1920s and 1930s. Additional single cut diamonds add sparkle throughout the mounting, bringing the total diamond weight to 1.28 carats.

The old European cut was hand-crafted before modern cutting techniques, producing a soft glow rather than sharp brilliance. The platinum band has developed a beautiful antique patina over the decades.
