This Art Deco engagement ring features a .65 carat Old European cut diamond flanked by two french baguette cut blue sapphires in 20 karat white gold. The Old European cut is an antique cutting style with a smaller table and larger facets than modern rounds, creating a softer, more diffused light pattern rather than intense sparkle.
At J color, the diamond shows just a hint of warmth. VS2 clarity means the stone is very clean with only minor inclusions that won't be visible to the naked eye. The two sapphires measure 5.00 x 2.00mm each and total .38 carats, adding vivid blue color on either side of the center diamond.
Geometric engraving covers the ring's surface, and the square head design reflects the angular motifs popular during the Art Deco period of the 1920s and 1930s. The substantial 20 karat gold gives the ring more weight and presence on your finger than typical 14k or 18k pieces
