This Art Deco cocktail ring is set in platinum and features a GIA-certified 1.90 carat Colombian emerald in an emerald cut, surrounded by natural diamonds totaling 1.61 carats. The emerald cut creates rectangular step-cut facets that produce a hall-of-mirrors effect, emphasizing the stone's clarity and rich green color rather than creating sparkle. Colombian emeralds are prized for their vivid green color with exceptional saturation.

Two diamonds at 4.0mm and .25 carats each in G/H color and VS2-SI1 clarity flank the emerald, while old European and single cut diamonds totaling 1.11 carats add additional sparkle. Old European cuts have smaller tables and larger culets than modern brilliants, creating chunkier light flashes, while single cuts are simplified versions with fewer facets.
