This Art Deco antique platinum engagement ring features a 1.42 carat old European cut diamond set flush in a square head. The old European cut produces softer, chunkier facets than modern round brilliants, creating romantic sparkle characteristic of early 20th-century diamonds.
Four accent diamonds measuring 1.5mm each and weighing .015 carats are positioned at the corners of the square head, adding .06 carats for a total diamond weight of 1.48 carats.
