1.30 Edwardian Emerald & Diamond Cocktail Ring Platinum

This Edwardian-era cocktail ring centers a 1.30 carat emerald cut emerald set in prongs on an elongated 18 karat yellow gold mounting with 18 karat white gold accents. The emerald displays a green color that's enhanced by the step-cut faceting of the emerald cut, which emphasizes color depth over sparkle.

Six diamond accents totaling 1.12 carats surround the emerald in a mix of old European, old mine, and single cuts—all vintage cutting styles with larger facets and different light patterns than modern brilliants. Two larger diamonds at .25 carats each flank the emerald directly, while four smaller diamonds at .10 carats each are positioned around the setting.

The diamonds are graded F color, meaning they're colorless.  The two-tone combination of yellow and white gold creates visual contrast typical of Edwardian jewelry from the early 1900s.
