Antique Transitional Cut Diamond Engagement Ring Platinum.  This vintage platinum Art Deco diamond and sapphire engagement ring is an phenomenal example of fine craftsmanship from the time period.  The center .50 carat transitional cut round diamond is flush set platinum bar prongs.  The center diamond is flanked by a row of caliber cut natural sapphire in a slim channel setting.  The sapphires show minor abrasion under magnification due to the age of the ring.  The side diamonds are set in platinum beads creating a pave diamond appearance with great sparkle.  The fine filigree platinum work is visible from the galley view and makes this ring extraordinary.
