Antique Cocktail Ring Victorian 5.95 Oval Cut Amethyst in 9k Yellow Gold

This Victorian Era cocktail ring is practically a work of art! A halo of twenty-seven (27) single cut diamonds surround the sizable 5.95 oval cut Amethyst, which has a gorgeous purple tone. What is even more spectacular is that the Amethyst has been drilling into and in the center sits a .25 carat cushion cut diamond that is bezel set. The setting has a delicate split in the shank where a diamond has been nestled into. Cast in 9k gold, this ring looks like it should be worn by the Queen a ring from this period of jewelry is named for.
