Our Checkout Process

We are here to make the checkout process as painless as possible but we do need to verify specific information in order to comply with our bank and credit card processor’s requirements.

Credit Card

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover. We also accept check, cash or wire transfer. Oftentimes, credit card companies will not process a large scale purchase due to potential fraudulent flags in place by the credit card company. For your protection and ours, we encourage you to notify your credit card company prior to attempting to check out to make the transaction a smoother one.

Please note: We only ship to the confirmed billing address associated with the credit card. For all online orders, identity must be verified prior to shipping. You will be asked for a copy of your government issued ID. You can email this directly to [email protected].

PayPal

PayPal is an excellent method of payment to ensure your purchase is completed without question. Please note that we only ship to the confirmed address associated with your PayPal account.

Wire Transfer or Check

If you would like to pay with a check or wire transfer, we encourage you to contact us at [email protected] or by phone at 612-486-2290. We will place your desired item on hold until the check is received or the wire transfer is completed.

Financing

We have partnered with Affirm so you can buy now and pay over time. Applying is easy and financing terms are clear. You’ll get a decision in seconds and you are not required to buy. Checking your rate does not affect your credit score.

Hold Policy

7 – DAY HOLD POLICY

We understand you might need some time to consider your purchase and we would be happy to place an item on hold. You may hold 1 item for up to 7 business days. If the item has not been purchased by 3pm CST on the 7th day, it will become available again for purchase. No Exceptions. Holds must be requested via [email protected] or by contacting us at 612-486-2290. We will not accept hold requests via Instagram and any hold request is not valid until confirmed by a member of our staff.

Shipping & Returns

DOMESTIC SHIPPING (USA)

Shipping with all purchases is complimentary. All packages are sent via UPS 2nd day air with private insurance that requires an adult signature. We will contact you after your purchase to arrange your desired shipping day to make sure an adult (18 and over) is available to sign for the package when it arrives and the tracking number will be provided once the package has been prepared.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Please keep in mind that depending on your payment method, it may take 1-3 days for your funds to clear. Ring sizing generally takes approximately 1 week so please plan accordingly if sizing is needed. You can contact us at 612-486-2290 if you have additional quesitons. Please note that all packages will ship to the billing address associated with the payment method and we require your telephone number for the package prior to shipping.

Overnight Shipping (USA)

We are pleased that you are excited and would like to receive the package as soon as possible.

Overnight and Saturday delivery is available for an additional fee.

International Orders

We have customers all over the world and are able to accommodate shipping to many countries. Please contact us at [email protected] to determine if we are able to ship to your country and to calculate the exact international shipping charge. We use FedEx priority signature required for all our international shipments. It is important to note that the purchaser is liable for any and all import or duty taxes.

Returns & Exchanges

How do I return an item?

We understand if something is just not quite right, we are here to help! Please give us a call at 612-486-2290 or email at [email protected] in order to initiate the return process.  We offer a 30 day return period with all purchases so you’ll have plenty of time to evaluate the item before making a decision.

*Filigree Jewelers reserves all rights in blocking any user that we see as abusive in purchasing and returning merchandise under the terms of our return policy.

30 Day Return Policy

At Filigree Jewelers, it is our desire to offer only the finest customer service. We want our clients to be 100% satisfied with their purchase and experience with us. We guarantee every item to be described to the best of our ability. We are strict on our quality grading and authenticity of each item. If you would like to return an item, you may do so within 30 days of the purchase. We will facilitate the return as easily as we facilitated the sale.

*We do not accept returns of any customized or custom ordered pieces.

For our layaway clients, please note that the 30-day return policy does not apply. You have 72 hours from receiving the item to contact us about arranging the return. For layaway returns or cancellations, a 10% restocking fee will apply. If a layaway item is on hold longer than 6 months, any funds paid will convert to store credit.

Conditions of Returns

Returns must be sent back to us within 30 days from the date you received the item.  All sales are final after 30 days.

Any additional paperwork or certifications provided by Filigree Jewelers must be included in your return package.

Merchandise will be reviewed by our in-house gemologist; it must be unused and in the same condition as it was shipped. Merchandise that has been used, altered, or damaged will not be accepted.

You will be issued a 100% refund minus any shipping charges paid via the payment method used originally.  This is also the case with international orders; all shipping, import/ brokerage fees or taxes will not be refunded.

Important Note

Filigree Jewelers evaluates and describes each item to the best of our ability prior to listing the item on our website. Please keep in mind that most of the jewelry on Filigree Jewelers is estate and/or antique and thus, shows it’s age. The item may show slight wear as most period pieces do. Filigree Jewelers restores, polishes, and may refurbish pieces in our collection. We do so with the utmost regard in maintaining the elegance, form and antiquity value of the piece.

*Please remember that diamond grading is not an exact science; it is an opinion, no matter how experienced the grader. Every stone is different, every diamond unique. Different graders, laboratories, and appraisers may also vary in their determinations. In addition, please note that colored stones, pearls, and other gemstones may have been treated to enhance color, stability or clarity. However, enhancements are not always detectable. Please make sure to ask questions prior to making your purchase and we will do our best to make sure they have been answered.

Repairs, Resizing & Warranty

RING SIZING

Filigree Jewelers offers one complimentary ring sizing with every purchase. If you have been able to confirm your desired ring size let us know and we will size the ring prior to shipping it to you.

If you are unaware of the proper ring size we will ship the ring to you at the current size. After the ring is presented and you have determined your desired ring size, we are happy to facilitate the ring sizing with a quick turn around time. Contact us and we will email you an insured shipping label to send the ring back to us for sizing. The turn around time on sizing is 14 business days.

REPAIRS

After you have taken delivery of an item from Filigree Jewelers it is in your care. We offer free cleanings, prong checks and free polishing with every purchase. We have restored many beautiful antique pieces and we are aware that you may have minor repairs that come up after time. We encourage you to contact us to help facilitate any repair.

We will evaluate each repair on a case-by-case circumstance to determine if there will be a charge associated with the repair.

WARRANTY

All of our vintage and custom pieces have been inspected by our in house gemologists and have been determined to be in very good to excellent condition.  We will replace missing stones and repair manufacturing defects not due to daily wear and tear.

We advise that you have your jewelry inspected and cleaned every six months so that we may identify any problems before they result in stone loss or damage due to improper wear.  We are happy to provide this service to all of our clients, free of charge.  Should you damage your piece, we will repair the item for a fee.  Any work done to the item by any other jeweler will void our warranty.

ENJOYING VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE JEWELRY

Antique and Vintage pieces were constructed differently than modern jewelry is today. It is important to understand that you are enjoying an item that is anywhere from 50 to 130 years old and to treat it as such. Our pieces are ready for daily wear, however, if you are working out, gardening, cooking or participating in sports we encourage you to take off your fine jewelry to continue the longevity of the piece.
